This is good. Please take the time to read it.
There is always hope no matter what the situation may be.
It's been awhile since I got this kind of email in my inbox. This truly lifts up one's hope and outlook in life. I wish that somehow this will inspire us all readers. Whatever good you receive today, please don't forget to pass it on.
What goes around comes around.... So True... Read to the end... Beautiful Story.
The man slowly looked up. This was a woman clearly accustomed to the finer things of life. Her coat was new. She looked like she had never missed a meal in her life. His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before.
"Leave me alone," he growled..
To his amazement, the woman continued standing. She was smiling -- her even white teeth displayed in dazzling rows. "Are you hungry?" she asked.
"No," he answered sarcastically. "I've just come from dining with the president. Now go away." The woman's smile became even broader. Suddenly the man felt a gentle hand under his arm.
"What are you doing, lady?" the man asked angrily. "I said to leave me alone.
Just then a policeman came up. "Is there any problem, ma'am?" he asked..
"No problem here, officer," the woman answered. "I'm just trying to get this man to his feet. Will you help me?"
The officer scratched his head. "That's old Jack. He's been a fixture around here for a couple of years. What do you want with him?"
"See that cafeteria over there?" she asked. "I'm going to get him something to eat and get him out of the cold for awhile."
"Are you crazy, lady?" the homeless man resisted. "I don't want to go in there!" Then he felt strong hands grab his other arm and lift him up. "Let me go, officer. I didn't do anything."
"This is a good deal for you, Jack," the officer answered. "Don't blow it.."
Finally, and with some difficulty, the woman and the police officer got Jack into the cafeteria and sat him at a table in a remote corner. It was the middle of the morning, so most of the breakfast crowd had already left and the lunch bunch had not yet arrived. The manager strode across the cafeteria and stood by his table.
"What's going on here, officer?" he asked. "What is all this. Is this man in trouble?"
"This lady brought this man in here to be fed," the policeman answered.
"Not in here!" the manager replied angrily. "Having a person like that here is bad for business."
Old Jack smiled a toothless grin. "See, lady. I told you so. Now if you'll let me go. I didn't want to come here in the first place."
The woman turned to the cafeteria manager and smiled. "Sir, are you familiar with Eddy and Associates, the banking firm down the street ?"
"Of course I am," the manager answered impatiently. "They hold their weekly meetings in one of my banquet rooms."
"And do you make a goodly amount of money providing food at these weekly meetings?"
"What business is that of yours?"
I, sir, am Penelope Eddy, president and CEO of the company."
"Oh."
The woman smiled again. "I thought that might make a difference." She glanced at the cop who was busy stifling a giggle. "Would you like to join us in a cup of coffee and a meal, officer?"
"No thanks, ma'am," the officer replied. "I'm on duty."
"Then, perhaps, a cup of coffee to go?"
"Yes, ma'am. That would be very nice."
The cafeteria manager turned on his heel, "I'll get your coffee for you right away, officer."
The officer watched him walk away. "You certainly put him in his place," he said.
"That was not my intent. Believe it or not, I have a reason for all this."
She sat down at the table across from her amazed dinner guest She stared at him intently. "Jack, do you remember me?"
Old Jack se arched her face with his old, rheumy eyes "I think so -- I mean you do look familiar."
"I'm a little older perhaps," she said. "Maybe I've even filled out more than my younger days when you worked here, and I came through that very door, cold and hungry."
"Ma'am?" the officer said questioningly. He couldn't believe that such a magnificently turned out woman could ever have been hungry.
"I was just out of college," the woman began. "I had come to the city looking for a job, but I couldn't find anything. Finally I was down to my last few cents and had been kicked out of my apartment. I walked the streets for days. It was February and I was cold and nearly starving. I saw this place and walked in on the off chance that I could get something to eat." Jack lit up with a smile. "Now I remember," he said. "I was behind the serving counter. You came up and asked me if you could work for something to eat. I said that it was against company policy."
I know," the woman continued. "Then you made me the biggest roast beef sandwich that I had ever seen, gave me a cup of coffee, and told me to go over to a corner table and enjoy it. I was afraid that you would get into trouble. Then, when I looked over, I saw you put the price of my food in the cash register I knew then that everything would be all right."
"So you started your own business?" Old Jack said.
"I got a job that very afternoon. I worked my way up. Eventually I started my own business, that, with the help of God, prospered." She opened her purse and pulled out a business card. "When you are finished here, I want you to pay a visit to a Mr. Lyons. He's the personnel director of my company. I'll go talk to him now and I'm certain he'll find something for you to do around the office." She smiled. "I think he might even find the funds to give you a little advance so that you can buy some clothes and get a place to live until you get on your feet. If you ever need anything, my door is always opened to you."
There were tears in the old man's eyes. "How can I ever thank you? " he said.
"Don't thank me," the woman answered. "To God goes the glory. ... He led me to you."
Outside the cafeteria, the officer and the woman paused at the entrance before going their separate ways. "Thank you for all your help, officer," she said.
"On the contrary, Ms. Eddy," he answered. "Thank you. I saw a miracle today, something that I will never forget. And...And thank you for the coffee."
If you have missed knowing me, you have missed nothing. If you have missed some of my emails, you might have missed a laugh.
Have a Wonderful Day. May God Bless You Always. And don't forget that when you "cast your bread upon the waters," you never know how it will be returned to you.
God is so big He can cover the whole world with his20Love and so small He can curl up inside your heart.

Making Money In Forex the Easy Way
Hi everyone.
My gosh, here we are in a brand new year. Did you make any New Year's resolutions yet? Did you ponder the problems we face in the economy that is emerging? Are you wondering how things are going to change with having a new President move into the Whitehouse in America? What are you thinking about?
I and my husband, (Yes, I have a husband) have been kicking around this idea of just what we could do to increase our earning capacity this year in 2009. This is a hard one. With all the decrease in manufacturing, and the ripple effect that has, and all the jobs that are being lost and the high unemployment rate all over the world, anyone thinking about starting a new biz offline with all this goings on, surely has a few screws loose. I would not want to do that in this economy! Would you?
So, what is it that will produce now and keep on producing for years to come?
FOREX.
Forex? I heard about that. Very complicated. Hard to learn, risky, and Forex is just for the rich to play with all the money they have to burn.
Those things just are not true anymore! What you say? That is right. (Click on the link to find out why this is so.)
FOREX can now be done by anyone of legal age and NO related skills. AND, The Forex market is so HUGE that thousands and thousands of us, like in ME and YOU could get involved and it would never affect each others income from it.
This is my and my husband's choice for helping ourselves and others around us by supercharging our income this year. My next article will be about running the numbers on what it means to double your money every month as stated in the FAP Turbo website.
If you are thinking Forex, or if you have had any exposure to this incredibly lucrative market, you have got to see this FAP Turbo Robot. You can do this! And yes, the video on the site will BLOW YOU AWAY! This is the best of the very best.
This is the way to do Forex!

Manny Pacquiao Or Oscar dela Hoya, Who is Your Bet?
Manny Pacquiao Or Oscar dela Hoya, Who is Your Bet?
In less than 48 hours from today, this boxing dream match will take place. And people all over the world have different ideas about who's gonna win. Each of the two contenders, boxers Pacman or Golden Boy, have their own strengths and weaknesses. But whoever wins in this game, one thing is sure (and this is only my opinion) luck is in his favor. I have no question whatsoever with their abilities, they are both champions in their time.
Reports said that Pacquiao is the underdog in this match. And both have proven track records of their capabilities so it is really hard to say who's gonna win, if it is
Pacman or Golden Boy.
To those who are boxing aficionados, here are more details
Good luck to the boxers: Go Pacman Go! Go Golden Boy Go!
May the best man win! Cheers!

Beware of These Products from China
My blog is turning to be an information center for all kinds of information but I don't mind and hope that the readers of this blog don't mind too.
Sometimes it is hard to just ignore it and I am compelled to share it to the readers and people that I come in contact with. Anyway, this is one of the latest that I got from a friend.
This is all about some products from China. China's products whether food, toys or electronic gadgets were very much in the news lately because of the questionable substances that are found detrimental to human health. The most scary for me was the melamine issue on their milk products. Most of their products were recalled from the international markets. I don't know the effects of these in their economy. But this is not all about it.
There are two items in this article that people should be aware of. Slippers and hairbands or headbands.
Here is the email about it and it comes with some photos too.
Be cautious of hair bands at open markets around the city too – they are probably from China since they are purchased in bulk very very cheap !!!!
Take a good look before buying hair bands in future – specially like the following kind…..

These Hair bands were made from used condoms and threads.

Here is a piece of news about this.
BEIJING (AFP) - Used condoms are being recycled into hair bands in southern China threatening to spread sexually-transmittable diseases they were originally meant to prevent, state media reported Tuesday
In the latest example of potentially harmful Chinese-made products, rubber hair bands have been found in local markets and beauty salons in Dongguan and Guangzhou cities in southern Guangdong province, China Daily newspaper said.
'These cheap and colorful rubber bands and hair ties sell well ..... threatening the health of local people,' it said.
Despite being recycled, the hair bands could still contain bacteria and viruses, it said.
'People could be infected with AIDS, (genital) warts or other diseases if they hold the rubber bands or strings in their mouths while waving their hair into plaits or buns,' the paper quoted a local dermatologist who gave only his surname, Dong, as saying. A bag of ten of the recycled bands sells for just 25 sen (three cents), much cheaper than others on the market, accounting for their popularity, the paper said.
A government official was quoted as saying recycling condoms was illegal. China 's manufacturing industry has been repeatedly tarnished this year by a string of scandals involving shoddy or dangerous goods made for both domestic and foreign markets.
In response, it launched a public relations blitz this summer aimed at playing up efforts to strengthen monitoring systems._.___
Check your kids hair bands and make sure they do not put them in their mouth while trying to plait or tie their hair . See below for Chinese Slippers now being sold in Walmart in the US . Hopefully, they are not yet in the Philippines or in your particular country especially in Asia...
REMEMBER THE PAINT ON KIDS TOYS ?
Hi,
This is very true as I heard it in news from one of our local radios here that our govt has to be extra careful on these cheap imports from china. These includes clothes, food, toys, slippers and even glasses because the Chinese are using some strong but cheap chemical in their manufactures. Cheap is becoming expensive and at the same time fatal. I nearly bought one pair of the slippers below for myself last week at the Japanese $2 shop at IMM last week. YVette

The Move is Over, But We Are not Over
The past few weeks have been most hectic for me and the family. We have done a lot in so short span of time. Packing our stuffs for weeks and then unpacking again after a day of completing the task, huh! Yes, the move is over but we are not over yet.
And the most stressful part is when we started loading our stuffs in a truck around 9 pm and in less than 10 minutes after we just started, it began to rain really hard and long that we have to wait for the rain to stop but it did not stop. So we decided around 12 midnight to keep going inspite of the rain or we'll never get done. We were all wet and cold from the rain but we continued till 6 am in the morning. We were able to leave the old place around 7 am. The rain stopped already and all the time that we were travelling to the new place it was not raining anymore but dark clouds still looming in the sky.
And here's what! When we started unloading our stuffs, it started to rain again. it is 10am already and it rained for several hours but we kept going. a lot of our stuffs got wet. A carton of clothings got wet and were stained, we have to spend the next day washing them and drying them.
But i decided that after we unload our stuffs from the truck, we will stop everything and we will all rest and sleep. We were done around 1 pm and hit the sack right after lunch. Everyone was exhausted but I never heard anyone complaining about the task at hand. And I am very thankful for my family. They are most cooperative and helpful and all I can do is try to serve some special dishes to make up for lost energy. And hey, after a couple of weeks, we are not done yet. Though we are quite settled now, we still have some things to do.
And well, that is part of life. I am hoping that the next move will be the last. And what I mean is that I hope to move to our own house and pray that God will grant my wish.
Some of you are just lucky to have your own place but to most of us who are renting, this experience will always mean a lot of extra work and could be stressful at times.
Still, at the end of the day, there's something we always gain from the experience that enriches our lives that makes us a better person.

Moving Out To the City
Hi, folks.
Just want to post a short message. I did not abandon my blog. I and my family are too busy again packing our stuff and getting ready for the move to the city. And this is another kind of adventure. We don't know what is ahead of us but I do hope for a better one.
I can probably be online within the first week of November and hope that the readers won't get disappointed. I am planning to set up another website and hope that this time, I will be more focused.
This is all for the meantime and will be posting more as soon as I can. that's a promise!
Hope everyone is having a great time!

ECONOMIC RECESSION? What Is It?
It’s has been on the news since late 2007. The world economy is not good. There is an economic recession. It is getting worse, much worse than we expect but all hoped that we will all survive this.
I don’t know much about business, government and politics or even stocks trading but I have read and heard enough about this economic recession that is going on in the US and some parts of the world which is affecting the rest of the world in general. Aside from these bits of information that I read and heard, I can say that I have enough common sense to know at least some of the reasons why an economic recession is happening in a nation or country, but what is economic recession anyway?
So what is an economic recession? This happens when there is a substantial and remarkable decline in the economy which commonly lasts for a long time. This is obvious in terms of consumer spending, work, industrial output, actual revenue and wholesale business deals. A theoretical index of this is 2 successive quarters of negative growth which is quantified by the national GDP or gross domestic product.
Experts allege that an economic recession is typical because it is part of the trade or business cycle and things normally improve within 16 to 18 months.
On any trade cycle, there's a point of recovery, expansion, slowdown and then recession. On recovery, the gross domestic product or GDP of a country begins to go up. Once the GDP grows robustly, this is the time that it builds up. Once consumers are not purchasing much, this follows when you suffer a slowdown. Since there is lesser demand for the products, you have an economic recession.
The most recent economic recession happened in 2000 and 2001 which had three quarters of negative growth succeeded by three favorable quarters then five more quarters of sub par growth. Experts suppose that the similar tendency is taking place at present.
The basic solution that the government generally does is bring down interest rates to aid perk up the economic system. Only last year, the Federal government cut down interest rates three times towards the close of the third and fourth quarter of the year so that overnight loans between banks could be borrowed at 4.25% which is the lowest in the past 2 years.
What makes the economic recession distinct from what came about subsequently the Second World War is that this one is a result of falling home values or real estate and a crisis of trust among fixed income investors.
Notwithstanding the truth that the nation has survived this again and again, there's however no way to foretell when it will take place.
